Getting ahead of myself...just a bit:)
I think it is safe to say that I am once again getting ahead of myself. Not only am I trying to finish my book "Love Potion #6", I have started writing the body of yet another book called "Past Life". Also, instead of finishing my "Charlie" series for kids, I started 3 other children's books, and finished one. There is a perfectly good reason why I am so sidetracked with these other titles. It is called writers block. That is at least what I am calling it. The one children's book I have finished is called "Kaytlyn and the Dirty Dishes". I wrote it with my niece in about 30 minutes. Although I still need to finish the illustrations completely...it is finished as far as the writing goes. She is very excited as well, not only because the book is named after her, but I told her once it is complete and we publish...she will make money too. Another title named after my son is called "Joey and the Dinosaur". Of course we are still working on that one, my son has a very vivid imagination and the story has changed a couple of times...a work in progress. With lots of work on my plate right now, I do get off track a little, but once it slows down and I get a break, I am going to have to make some changes, and stick to one thing at a time!!! One project at a time, and just breathe...maybe then I can break that writers block that has been in my way for some time now.

I had some time today...finally, and I checked Amazon to see if my book was finally on the site for sale...yes it is. It was a good feeling to see something in print of mine on a website. This book is not my best work, just some ramblings that I wrote a while back. I used this book to test the free publishing site createspace. Before I put any more of my titles on there, I would like a good chance to see how it works...Here we go. If you do order from Amazon, they take most of the royalties...unfortunately. I do however have my own e-store...to the right of this blog. It allows me to make a bit more in royalties, so please do your ordering from my e-store. Thanks to everyone who supported me along the way, hopefully I will have another title soon.

Well so much for working on my book as I had planned. That's just how it goes sometimes. My real job must come first. It is very strange how I will find myself in the mood to write when I am loaded with work from my real job...when I have a week or two week break from my real job, I will sit in front of my laptop without one single thought.

Today I am hoping to finish a chapter of another book I have been working on for a very long time. It is called "Love Potion #6". It has been a little difficult for me to really concentrate and finish this particular chapter. My husband says I have "writers block" on this book. I have so many rough drafts started on a few other titles, and am now in the process of forcing myself to stick to one thing at a time. This may be hard for me as my head is filled with so many ideas, and my fingers are not fast enough to keep up with my thoughts. There is a small portion of this title on createspace.com. If anyone wants to preview it, just click the link. You may have to sign up to be a member, it is free. Then click on "member spotlight", then "make previews". Select "preview gallery" and go to "romance"..It should be book #491-500. I wrote this preview quite some time ago. This site is fun if you like to read, and just may find yourself adding your own title as well.

First Post
As I sit at home today..my house is very quite. This is what I call "me-time" I just put my book up for sale, and with that finally done..a new blog is in order. The title is "Wouldn't you love to?", and the link for ordering from my create space e-store is available. Feedback is great..good or bad. With this blog, I am hoping to make some new friends, keep everyone updated on my writings, vent a little when needed and even learn something new.
